Who we are:

A small light yellow building with a sloped roof, open door, and two windows with dark shutters. There is an 'Open' sign hanging outside, and the building has a sign displaying information about the farm, including eggs, vegetables, fruit, flowers, and plant seedlings. Several potted plants and flowers are in front of the building, and a weather vane is mounted on the wall near the windows. The background shows a clear blue sky and tall trees.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our page and learn more about us.

We are a small family farm that takes pride in offering fresh, nutrient dense, produce grown using organic methods and eggs to our local community. We also provide fresh cut flowers, plant seedlings, and goods from other local farms and artisans.

Our family includes Emily, Chaz and William. We all play a roll in keeping the farm running and animals happy and healthy. We moved to Whiteford in 2023 and have really enjoyed getting to know our community and transform our property.

Emily is the owner and operater of the farm business. She runs and operates the market garden, provides all animal care, and is responsible for all media and aspects of the business while working a part time job. In 2019 after feeling a disconnect from her food, the earth and a yearning to contribute to our planet and human health, Emily made the career change from interior design to farming. Since then she has worked at an organic produce farm, learned from volunteering at local farms, taken various courses, and continues her education through researching methods for producing vegetables and fruit free from pesticides and herbicides while providing support to our local ecosystem. She loves animals, hiking, kayaking, and exploring new outdoor spaces.

Chaz is the bloodline, strong arm and carpenter for the farm. He takes on any building, electrical, plumbing, construction, and general maintenance of the farm while working a full time job. Chaz loves building and improving anything around the farm, riding his motorcycle, and watching sports.

William is the chicken and turkey wrangler, insect identifier, and ensures all the animals are well loved. He can be found hugging the animals and smelling the flowers. He loves baseball, music, art, and classic cars.

As a family we feel so lucky we have been able live and work on this land and share our hardwork, harvests and passions with all of you! We acknowledge that this land once belonged to the susquehannock tribe and we hope to restore and care for the land as they might have.

Your support means the world to us.

We are excited to share our journey with you and look forward to being a part of yours. Welcome to our farm family!
